My seed writing

Dear save the children,

I think your organisation is incredible and it looks like you love and are proud of what your doing. I love it how you can not only donate but also sponsor a child witch gives the children even more chances at education, health and future. I have watched many of your videos they are very clear and make us remember how lucky we are in Australia. I think that the work you do is amazing 8% fundraising 2% commercial activity 83% programs 7% accountability and administration. I appreciate that your one of Australians largest aid and development agencies dedicated to helping children. I hope your organisation only improves, I see hope and future for those children because of your organisation.
Your changing life’s!

Literacy task about the splash of water made me feel

We flow down the path to the beach, I listen to the rocks scratching and screeching as I take another step each time. The wind blows though my hair and I feel a bit of rain rush through my face it feels like ice. When we arrive I chuck on my wetty and hit the waves. The first chance I get I dive into the water it’s cold but makes my mind feel free. I twirl around in the water. I then notice some whales out far, I start to feel just a little nervous about it.

The humity is so warm it makes my body feel energetic. I hold my head high to the sky and imagine I’m flying through the sky my mind quickly flows to Nate pouring water on me with a bucket the big splash of water makes me feel cold and in need of revenge. I grap the bucket and get my brother back. Then I lift my arms and push through the water to get a better view of those whales.

I swam out until I had a view I enjoyed, then I kicked up my legs and floated on my back peacefully. After a while I paddled back in, until I got to the shallows and then just lay in the sand and sun quietly. I ran back into the waves and rinsed of the sand, jogged up the beach grabbed my towel and Nate and I began the journey home.

Snapshot writing

“ahh” the person next to me screams ” whoops sorry” I say I realized I had dropped my sprighty soda on him. I could feel the hot hummity around me, it made me sweat. There was a mixture of perfume my tongue went all wierd. I could see people laughing an chatting away waiting for the next song to come on and new lights, costumes and beats.

Text analysis for heal the world

When I’m older I want caring for others to be apart of my job wether it’s fixing others giving people education or other jobs related to things like that. Many people travel far each day to help people in our community that are sick or need help. In the video there was a few sick children and I know of plenty of organisations like save the children and many others. They do heaps to make children healthy and supported with education, from doing fundraisers and using the money to open medical clinics. A lot of children are unhealthy because of poverty and not enough food and clean water for them

.

Text to world: Many children in our world are sick and unhappy because of things like war, the government and poverty but as little they have most of them are so great full and loving. I think everyone should appreciate what they have. In Syria it is very rough for the children but there is an organisation called save the children and it is also raising awareness to us and different community’s. They are raising awareness because 7,000 innocent children have been killed and 1 in 3 children hit kicked or shot at, 5 million children need emergency help.

Text to Text: I’m going to relate heal the world to a an organisation called save the children there job is to try and help the children in Syria and other children in places where not everything is ok. As a part of this project I’m going to draft a email and send it off to them with my appreciation and respect. I think charity is a great thing there are so many people out there trying to help others and that shows community that a group of people who believe in the same thing getting together using strength and abilities to give others second chances at life I find it really incredible!

One of my learning goals was to extend my vocabulary words further

vocabulary

Empathy– the ability to understand and share the feelings of another ( put yourself in there shoes)

Hubrus– excessive pride or self confidence

Nemesis– something that a person cannot achieve. An agent or a type of punishment.

Obfuscate– to confuse or be indecisive about something.

pretentious– making a big exaggeration out of something really small

3 Thoughts.

  1. I think you spent your time very wisely! The way you compared yourself to the text heal the world was very good, I also want to work with children when I am older. It is very good to know that someone is caring for all the children that are in need! In my big idea I’m doing one of save the children program’s ( South Sudan Hunger ).
